Growing up in a rural lakeside town in the heart of Europe, Kai was never far from the simple joys of being close to nature. After many years of time-travelling, he washed up in Aotearoa and revived this love.

The freeing spirit of the country, introduction to psychedelics and festival culture kicked off a chain reaction that would deeply shift his perspective and unleash a new sonic understanding and obsession. Since then, Kai focused many of his waking hours on mixing and, recently, producing. This new learned musical language added to his existing visual toolset of self-expression.

Being aware that the present moment is a complex gift, shaped by the multifaceted occurrences of the past, Kai exhibits a vast array of music that happened to collide with him; inspired by the same serendipity.

He gravitates to playing at events surrounded by nature, in spaces that are linked to the idea of connectivity and self-exploration.
